The meaning of my logo
Enso is a circle drawn with a single brushstroke. It symbolizes simplicity and harmony. Painting it is one of the rituals of Zen calligraphy. It is a symbol encompassing the visible and the hidden, simplicity and depth, emptiness and fullness, peace and dynamism. […]
An open enso – such an unfinished, unclosed circle – expresses the idea of not being separated from everything, connected with everything, and being part of a greater whole. […]
Breath and emptiness are essential components of reflection, contemplation, and the creation of inner life. An open enso circle represents openness to infinity – it expresses a complete and fulfilling state in which everything and nothing exist simultaneously in the present moment. […]
We can draw our own personal enso. However, let’s not seek perfection – there is no perfect circle – there is simply our circle, drawn by us, connecting what is perfect and imperfect within us, existing and yet needing to be discovered. [……]
Bindi (red dot on the forehead) – according to the Far Eastern perspective on the human energy structure, red is the color associated with the root chakra, which connects us to the earth, reality, and life – the roots. [….]
